Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026
CuratorX Studio is a product of Cruzsan Technologies LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Cruzsan Technologies", "we", "us", "our"), which owns and operates it. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Cruzsan Technologies LLC and govern your access to and use of CuratorX Studio, including the website, the editor, and any related features (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
CuratorX Studio is a browser-based batch photo editing tool owned and operated by Cruzsan Technologies LLC. It allows you to upload images, apply filter presets and manual adjustments, add watermarks, and export edited images as PNG or JPG files, individually or in batches (including ZIP archives) — all processed locally in your browser.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
2. Account eligibility and registration
To use CuratorX Studio you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher)
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your password and notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
- Not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or are used in violation of these Terms.
3. Subscription plans and pricing
CuratorX Studio offers three plans:
| Plan | Price | Photos / batch | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spark | Free | Up to 10 | — |
| Pro | $10.99 / month | Up to 50 | 3 days free |
| Studio | $20.99 / month | Up to 200 | 3 days free |
Prices are in US dollars and may change with 30 days' advance notice. All paid plans are billed monthly. We reserve the right to introduce annual billing options in the future.
4. Free trial
Pro and Studio subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to all features of your selected plan. No charge is made until the trial period ends.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically at the applicable monthly rate. By starting a trial, you authorize this charge.
To cancel before being charged, visit the Account page and use the billing portal before your trial end date.
When your trial starts, we email you a confirmation with your plan, its price, the date and time your trial ends, and how to cancel. On the day before your trial ends (in your time zone), we email you a reminder, unless you have already cancelled. If you cancel, we email you a confirmation of the cancellation.
Trial eligibility and abuse: Free trials are intended for new users who have not previously subscribed to a paid plan. We reserve the right to determine eligibility for free trials and promotional offers at our sole discretion. Creating multiple accounts solely to obtain repeated free trials, or any other circumvention of trial limits, is a violation of these Terms and may result in account restrictions, suspension, revocation of trial access, or permanent termination. We may limit, deny, suspend, or revoke free trial eligibility where abuse is reasonably suspected.
5. Billing and payment
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts, your account may be downgraded to the Spark (free) plan.
You can manage your payment method, view billing history, and update billing details at any time through the billing portal accessible from your Account page.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to your paid plan's features until that date. We email you a confirmation when you cancel. Requesting deletion of your account cancels your subscription the same way (see section 12).
Refund policy: We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused features. If you cancel during the middle of a billing period, you will not be charged for the next period but will not receive a refund for the current one.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@cruzsantechnologies.com within 30 days of the charge and we will investigate.
7. Your content and intellectual property
You own your images. As of the effective date of these Terms, image processing is performed locally within your browser and uploaded images are not stored by us. Your images are processed on your own device; they are not transmitted to our servers or accessed by us in any way under the current feature set. We claim no rights over any images you edit using this Service.
If future features require image storage or cloud-based processing, those practices will be disclosed in advance through updates to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and will be subject to your consent where required by applicable law.
Custom presets — your ownership: Filter preset configurations (names and numeric settings) that you create and save are your own. They are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. You retain full ownership of them at all times, and you can remove them at any point by clearing your browser storage.
License to us: By using the Service, you grant us no license over your images or your saved preset configurations. Your images are processed entirely on your device, and your presets never leave your browser.
8. Export and processing disclaimer
CuratorX Studio is an image processing platform. All editing, filtering, watermarking, and export operations are performed locally within your browser using your device's processing capabilities and the browser's native Canvas API.
Your responsibility to review outputs: You are responsible for reviewing all exported images before publication, delivery, client submission, or commercial use. We do not guarantee that exported images will meet any particular quality, commercial, legal, printing, publishing, platform compatibility, or technical requirements.
Output quality, color accuracy, file size, compression level, and metadata may vary depending on your browser, device, operating system, source image format, and selected export settings. Browser-based image processing is subject to the inherent limitations of your browser and hardware.
No liability for output quality: We are not liable for any losses, damages, or claims arising from exported file quality, formatting, metadata changes, compression artifacts, color shifts, browser compatibility limitations, or any errors in the processing of your images. You remain solely responsible for verifying that your exported files meet your requirements before distribution or commercial use.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CuratorX Studio to:
- Edit, watermark, or export images that you do not have the legal right to use
- Process or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any illegal imagery
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in ways that circumvent plan limits
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers
- Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
Violation of these restrictions may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
10. Copyright and intellectual property complaints
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users to do the same. You represent that you own or have the necessary licenses, rights, and permissions to use any images you process through the Service.
Copyright notices: If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used in connection with this Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to:
Cruzsan Technologies LLC — Copyright Notices (CuratorX Studio)
6545 Market Ave. North, STE 100
Canton, OH 44721, USA
support@cruzsantechnologies.comPlease include: (1) a description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) your contact information; (3) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (4) a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
We take copyright complaints seriously. Users who are found to repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others may have their accounts suspended or terminated. We reserve the right to remove access or disable accounts where infringement is reasonably suspected, even in the absence of a formal notice.
11. Plan limits and enforcement
Each subscription plan includes a maximum number of photos that can be processed per batch session. These limits are enforced by the Service. Attempting to circumvent plan limits (including through multiple accounts, automation, or other means) is a violation of these Terms.
12. Account termination and data retention
By you: You may request deletion of your account at any time from the Account page. If you have a paid plan or free trial, your subscription is set to end and will not renew, and your account is permanently deleted at the end of your current billing period or trial. You keep access to your plan until then, no refund is given for the remainder of that period (see section 6), and you can cancel the deletion from the Account page until that date; renewing your subscription in the billing portal also cancels the deletion. If you have no paid plan or trial, your account is deleted immediately. We email you a confirmation when you make the request and again when the deletion is complete. Deletion removes your profile and subscription records from our database and cannot be undone once complete. Presets saved locally in your browser are removed when you clear your browser storage.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice where legally permitted and practicable. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
Records retained after deletion: Certain categories of information may be retained after account deletion where required or permitted by law, including but not limited to: billing and transaction records, fraud-prevention and security logs, tax and accounting records, and records required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. The retention period for such records may vary based on the applicable legal obligation. Retained information will not be used for marketing purposes. Stripe may independently retain transaction records pursuant to their own legal obligations and policies.
13. No professional advice
CuratorX Studio is a software tool for image editing and creative workflow purposes. The Service does not provide and should not be construed as providing professional, legal, financial, accounting, tax, business, or any other form of professional advice. Any decisions you make based on your use of the Service are your own responsibility. Please consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your circumstances.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that any defects will be corrected or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cruzsan Technologies LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
In any case, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $10 USD.
16. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any delay, interruption, degradation, or failure of the Service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Internet or network outages affecting infrastructure we rely on
- Outages or disruptions caused by our third-party service providers, including Supabase, Stripe, and Cloudflare
- Cyberattacks, denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, or other malicious acts
- Natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, or other acts of God
- Government actions, regulations, embargoes, sanctions, or court orders
- Labor disputes, strikes, or shortages of materials or infrastructure
- Power failures or failures of third-party telecommunications systems
In such events, our obligations under these Terms will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users and to resume normal service as promptly as practicable. Your obligation to pay applicable subscription fees is not suspended during a force majeure event unless we elect to issue service credits at our sole discretion.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cruzsan Technologies LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us at support@cruzsantechnologies.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. For material changes — those that substantially affect your rights — we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
